Young Persons' Drugs & Wellbeing Awareness Council

Be the change: shape the information and support you get around drug use and your wellbeing

Mind in Harrow and Compass Elevation  partnered to bring young people together to tackle the stigma and misinformation around drugs, alcohol and mental health.

In 2024, we recruited 13-20-year-olds and formed Youth Drugs & Wellbeing Awareness Council to shape future services.

We provided the young council with training sessions on Mental Health, Drugs and Substance Misuse, Research, and Marketing and Campaigning. Then, our young people developed together a Drugs and Mental Wellbeing campaign to Improve Drugs and Mental Health Services’ Provision.

The first step to implement their plan is to research their peers perspective about current Drugs and Mental Health services at Harrow. So, if you are under 18 years old or know someone who is, please share this survey with them and let them share their experiences to show support for young people!
