Mind in Harrow is an award-winning mental health charity based in NW London, just three minutes from Harrow Metropolitan line station. The postholder has an exciting role, working with a successful and active mental health service user group of trained Service User Representatives (Reps). You will collaborate with NHS and other public sector staff on the frontline as well as engaging with senior decision-makers and local politicians to influence change.
We are seeking a self-motivated team member with experience of empowering people with mental health problems and working in a multi-cultural environment. You will have an excellent understanding of co-design and strong communication skills to engage social excluded groups to participate in the project.
It is essential that you have lived experience of mental health issues yourself or caring for someone close to you. The successful applicant will be required to complete an enhanced Disclosure & Barring service application (DBS).
