Are you passionate about supporting young people’s mental health? Do you have experience in project coordination and outreach? Mind in Harrow is looking for a Youth Projects Coordinator to lead and develop our services for children and young people under 25.
About the Role
As our Youth Projects Coordinator, you will take the lead on coordinating HeadsUp and our Children & Young People’s Services (CYP). Your role will be instrumental in ensuring that our youth mental health initiatives are delivered effectively and that we continue to respond to the needs of young people in Harrow.
You will:
✔ Coordinate projects such as Wellbeing Workshops, training for professionals, and new initiatives.
✔ Lead research into local youth mental health needs, working with partners such as universities and community groups.
✔ Organise outreach events to improve access to mental health support for young people.
✔ Promote and advocate for young people’s mental health by engaging with local stakeholders and professionals.
✔ Develop partnerships with youth, faith, and community groups to enhance service accessibility.
✔ Manage evaluation and data collection to continuously improve our youth projects.
Who We’re Looking For
We are seeking a highly motivated, creative, and experienced individual with:
✅ A recognised qualification in health or social care, youth work, or an equivalent field.
✅ Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
✅ Experience in project coordination, youth engagement, or outreach.
✅ An understanding of emotional resilience and well-being in young people.
✅ A proactive, innovative approach to problem-solving and service development.
✅ Strong IT and digital marketing skills to promote our services online.
✅ A commitment to advocating for youth mental health support across Harrow.
