Carers are currently facing even more challenges and intense times than usual. Many carers are reporting a lack of respite, isolation, loneliness and anxiety. They are feeling overwhelmed and concerned for their mental health.
Mind in Harrow collaborated with Carers UK on Thursday, 21 May in their Share and Learn session where we talked about ways carers can be kind to themselves. We want to say a BIG thank you to all the carers who shared tips, ideas and advice with us.
As part of Mental Health Awareness Week, with its theme of kindness, we produced an info-graphic after the session so the tips can be share with other carers as well. We hope you will find them useful.
