Refer a young person to access support through one of the ‘HeadsUp’ partnership charities or for advice & signposting on the right service for them locally.
Please Note: we are a signposting service and Mind in Harrow cannot hold duty of care for the young persons referred through this form.
You may prefer to contact a HeadsUp Partner directly and we recommend referring to the WISH Centre’s criteria for self harm support.
HeadsUp Partners Offer
The Wish Centre: therapy including peer group therapy and art group therapy for young people engaged in self-harm, aged 13-21, in Harrow.
Centre for ADHD & Autism Support: 1-1 wellbeing support social groups; courses to understand their diagnoses and to support young people in all aspects of their lives; support for families. For 11-25-year-olds with a diagnosis of or suspected ADHD and/or autism, in Harrow, Hillingdon & Brent.
Please Note: this is not counselling or therapy for mental health, and there is currently a waiting list of around 9 months for 1-1 support
Mosaic LGBT+ Young Persons’ Trust: 1-1 mentoring and counselling, an active youth group, socials and development activities for young LGBT+ persons aged 11-18, including those questioning their gender or sexual identity, across London.
Paiwand: counselling, social groups and group support for young people aged 11-25 who are refugees, seeking asylum, or unaccompanied minors, or have this background, in Harrow, Hillingdon & Brent.
