Charterhouse Accountants Michael Andrelos (right) Usman Azam (left) and Associate Director Raj Jiwani braved the skies to parachute 10,000 feet as part of the Charterhouse Challenge which together with regular donations raised £4500 for Mind in Harrow.
An exhilarating total which Charterhouse plans to top in this, their second year of support for Mind in Harrow to June 2023. “We are delighted Charterhouse are continuing to support us as their Charity of The Year” says Mind in Harrow CEO Anna Ware. “With the pandemic having increased local need by some 60% – Charterhouse’s continued support could not come at a better time. We are especially looking forward to the Charterhouse Volunteering Day, where Charterhouse staff will undertake essential outreach work into our local community and source essential stock for the Mind in Harrow charity shop.”
Charterhouse CEO David White says “As a business we had no hesitation in choosing to adopt Mind in Harrow as our Charity of the Year. Primarily it was due to our understanding of the real need to provide support to all people who are suffering from mental health issues.
At Charterhouse we continually support our staff in all their needs including mental health and this was our chance to help other outside of the business. By being there to help over the last year it has meant we can give more support over a longer period and this has hopefully helped Mind in Harrow more than if we had just sponsored an event.”
